How to Become Rich?

In Paulo Coelho’s novel, The Alchemist, there was a man who spent his entire life searching for the secret to wealth in life. His journey began in his homeland, then he traveled to the Maghreb and Egypt, in hopes of finding an alchemist who could guide him to the secret of wealth; so he could return wealthy to his beloved in his homeland. His journey continued for many years, during which he endured harsh trials that nearly led to his death.

As for the book Think and Grow Rich, its author, Napoleon Hill, presents the secret on a silver platter, suggesting that the key to success is to repeat this secret. The secret was tested over 20 years before the book was written and successfully published.

Think and Grow Rich

Napoleon Hill spent more than 20 years searching for the secret of wealth, during which he conducted periodic interviews with many wealthy individuals from around the world. Finally, he was able to convey this secret to us through the book Think and Grow Rich, published in 1937. Since then, it has continued to be in demand and published.

However, the original idea was not Napoleon Hill’s but was that of a wealthy man named Andrew Carnegie. Carnegie noticed the struggles of young people in finding suitable jobs or achieving desirable income. He directed Hill to interview the wealthy and extract the secret.

More than 12 wealthy individuals were interviewed, including Henry Ford, William Wrigley Jr., James Hill, George Eastman, and others. When the book was first published in 1973, it sold more than 15 million copies worldwide and proved to be an effective motivational book.

Thus, the idea of the book was born, through Napoleon Hill’s efforts and Andrew Carnegie’s vision to solve the problem of youth in obtaining job opportunities and achieving financial success.
