From another front, Tariq Masood, General Manager of Snowflake UAE, highlighted the rise of the AI Data Cloud as a transformational tool for businesses:
“GITEX Global 2025 gave us the perfect stage to demonstrate how the AI Data Cloud helps organizations turn information into measurable business value,” Masood explained. “We’re helping enterprises move beyond experimentation to achieve tangible, scalable outcomes that fuel innovation and data-driven growth.”

The exhibition floor came alive with an array of landmark partnerships and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) between public and private entities, underscoring Dubai’s pivotal role as a catalyst for digital transformation across the region.

- A collaboration between Presight and Dubai Taxi Corporation to develop AI-powered smart mobility solutions, enhancing urban transportation efficiency and sustainability.
- A joint initiative between Amazon Web Services (AWS)and &e to train 30,000 Emiratis in AI and cloud computing under the national program “AI Nation – Afaq”.
- The Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport unveiled 19 strategic partnerships focused on AI integration in smart cities, real estate, and public services.

GITEX: A Global Hub for Startups
At Dubai Harbour, the startup-focused counterpart, Expand North Star, pulsed with entrepreneurial energy as founders from more than 100 countries connected with investors managing over $1.1 trillion in assets. The gathering further reinforced Dubai’s position as a global hub for venture innovation.
The momentum culminated in the Supernova 2.0 competition, where South Korea’s AIM Intelligence secured the $300,000 grand prize, securing another milestone to GITEX’s growing reputation as a launchpad for high-potential startups.
The Future: Tech Meets Lifestyle
Looking ahead, GITEX is gearing up to redefine the global tech calendar with the launch of the world’s first “GITEX TechCation” in 2026, bringing technology, culture, and lifestyle together in a new event concept.
Scheduled for December 7–11, 2026, at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai, TechCation will extend beyond the traditional exhibition format, transforming the city itself into an immersive innovation hub.
The event will move beyond exhibition halls to connect with Dubai’s cultural and tourism ecosystem, ushering in a new era for global tech gatherings.
