SEU & National eLearning Center Partner to Launch Future-Ready Diploma Programs

In a strategic move to align higher education with emerging market needs, the Saudi Electronic University (SEU) and the National eLearning Center signed a collaboration agreement on Thursday at the Center’s headquarters in Riyadh. Dr. Mohammed bin Yahya Mirdhi, President of SEU, and Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Walidi, Director General of the Center, attended the signing.
The agreement aims to develop advanced learning opportunities tailored to the demands of evolving sectors and the future job market. Central to the collaboration is the integration of micro-credential university programs through the national FutureX platform, which will form part of flexible learning tracks leading to diploma and bachelor’s degrees.
This initiative supports the Kingdom’s Human Capability Development Program, part of Vision 2030, by enhancing lifelong learning pathways and enabling individuals to obtain specialized, adaptable qualifications in sync with ongoing digital and technological transformations.
As part of the agreement, SEU will soon launch several new diploma programs based on micro-credentials. These include diplomas in:
- Game Design & Development
- Public Relations & Corporate Communication
- Innovation Project Development & Consulting
- Cybersecurity & Data Management
- Cybersecurity Risk Governance
- Health Awareness & Crisis Management
- Digital Health & Data Analytics
The initiative is expected to boost the quality of education, bridge the gap between academia and industry, and contribute to building a more knowledge-based, innovation-driven economy in Saudi Arabia.
