Al-Huzaimi: Saudi Media Forum Shapes Future of Media with AI & Global Collaboration

Dr. Yasser Al-Huzaimi, a personal development trainer and human development expert, praised the fourth edition of the Saudi Media Forum, describing it as excellent. He highlighted its diversity and comprehensiveness, noting that media professionals can find valuable opportunities to learn and gain practical experience at the forum.

Saudi Media Forum: A Significant Platform

Al-Huzaimi emphasized that the forum serves as a vital platform for media professionals from various specialties to exchange ideas and experiences while staying updated on the latest developments in the media industry.

In an exclusive statement to Entrepreneurs, Al-Huzaimi noted that artificial intelligence (AI) does not pose a threat to media but rather serves as a valuable tool for those who use it correctly. He explained that when used responsibly and ethically, AI can significantly enhance and develop the media sector. Media professionals proficient in AI applications can achieve superior results in their work.

Rapidly Evolving Media Landscape in Saudi Arabia

Al-Huzaimi pointed out the rapid evolution of the media landscape in Saudi Arabia, describing it as dynamic and challenging to track accurately. He underscored that in the modern era, every individual effectively has their own media platform—whether through personal blogs or social media accounts—making everyone a participant in content creation.

He stressed the crucial role of young media professionals in shaping Saudi Arabia’s media future. Al-Huzaimi encouraged new media practitioners to focus on creating meaningful impact rather than seeking sensationalism. “Media professionals aiming for positive societal influence will play a pivotal role in advancing the media sector,” he said.

A Networking Opportunity for Young Media Professionals

Al-Huzaimi highlighted the forum’s significance as an opportunity for young media professionals to connect with industry experts and benefit from their experiences. He emphasized that the event provides a platform for young participants to present and discuss their ideas with peers, helping them develop their skills and capabilities.

He called on all media professionals to actively engage in the Saudi Media Forum and take advantage of the opportunities it offers. The forum, he noted, fosters global collaboration and knowledge-sharing, contributing to the advancement of the media industry.

Saudi Media Forum 2025 Kicks Off in Riyadh

The fourth edition of the Saudi Media Forum launched on Wednesday in Riyadh, featuring around 2,000 speakers and participants from diverse fields—including politics, energy, economics, AI, and entrepreneurship. The forum hosts 80 dialogue and knowledge-sharing sessions, alongside 11 interactive initiatives, making it a landmark event on both local and international media calendars.

In his opening remarks, Minister of Media Salman Al-Dosari described Saudi Arabia as an inspiring success story of the 21st century, with a media sector that mirrors this success through future-oriented tools and relentless progress. He revealed that Saudi Arabia welcomed 24 world leaders in 2024 and hosted over 15,000 events and conferences with more than 42 million attendees. “These events provide rich material for compelling headlines and in-depth stories,” Al-Dosari said.

Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Media

Al-Dosari underscored the pivotal role of AI in shaping the future of media, stressing that “every day without AI means years of delay.” He emphasized that discussions about the future of media inevitably revolve around predictive algorithms, robotic journalism, and AI-driven solutions. “Saudi Arabia has become a global laboratory for groundbreaking ideas, blending intelligent media with cutting-edge technologies like mixed and virtual reality,” he added.

The forum’s activities continue over Thursday and Friday, featuring discussion panels and workshops across four main platforms: Aramco Theater, Forum Talk, Investment Platform, and Inspiration Platform. These sessions involve local, regional, and international decision-makers, experts, and specialists discussing key topics relevant to the media industry’s future.

Exploring Media Challenges and Future Prospects

The Saudi Media Forum aims to shed light on the challenges confronting media in the digital age and explore solutions amid rapidly advancing technologies. It seeks to strengthen collaboration among media professionals worldwide, promote knowledge exchange, and elevate the media industry to new heights.
