TVTC organizes a meeting of corporate communication managers

Under the auspices of the “Rowad Alaamal” magazine, the General Administration of Institutional Communication at the ​​​​Saudi Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) recently organized the second Forum of Directors of Institutional Communication, under the slogan “Effective Communication in a Renewable Environment”.

The conference was held under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed bin Fahd Al-Fuhaid, His Excellency the Governor of the Foundation, and with the participation of several specialists and practitioners, at the headquarters of the Digital Technical College for Girls in Riyadh.

The two-day Forum of Corporate Communication Managers aimed to raise awareness of the importance of professional planning in public relations and media, learn about modern skills on social networking sites, and produce professional content on digital platforms.

The forum also aimed to identify skills related to editing and writing media materials, raising awareness of organizing events, and applying procedures. With the participation of academics and practitioners from the communication industry, it also exchanged experiences.

The Forum of Institutional Communication Directors included dialogue sessions, the first of which was entitled “Institutional Communication and Building Effective Relationships between the Organization and its Publics”, moderated by Shura Council Member Dr. Muhammad Al-Hizan.

During this, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Society for Relations and Media, Dr. Abdul Rahman Abdul Qadir, spoke about the concept of institutional communication and its success factors.

Meanwhile, Ibrahim Al-Rawsa, the consultant in strategic communication, spoke about building a mental image in organizations and ways to develop it.

The founder of the influential communication company, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institutional Communication Association, Munther Mahmoud Tayeb, touched on effective internal communication.

The second dialogue session was titled “Modern Trends in the Communication and Outreach Sector”, and was moderated by Sultan Al-Malik, a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Association for Opinion Writers.

Dr. Obaid Al-Abdali, CEO of Mixe Marketing Consulting Company, and former Shura Council member talked about marketing in the government sector, and Tariq Al-Ahmari, academic advisor in the field of communication, talked about creativity in digital content.

The Director General of Strategic Communication at the Real Estate General Authority, Tayseer Al-Mufarrej, also talked about creating persuasive messages for target groups.

The third dialogue session, moderated by Dr. Rania Al-Sharif, a specialist in marketing communication, reviewed some “creative communication experiences”, where Dr. Saud Al-Gharbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Media Association, shed light on successful communication experiences in the local and international sectors.

Speaking on the subject of “Communication Experiences for Public Appearance,” media advisor Majid Al-Ghamdi, Ismail Al-Mutawa, Director of Institutional Communication at the General Administration for Technical and Vocational Training in the Eastern Region, and Hani Bahwini in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region spoke.

The Forum of Corporate Communication Managers concluded its work with various workshops, including “Activating the Role of Institutional Communication in Organizations”, presented by communication specialist Nayef Al-Dait, and “The Art of Protocols in Events and Events”, presented by Abdulaziz Al-Wasifir, Director of Media and Communication at the Global Defense Exhibition.

The forum also included a workshop on the “media content industry”, presented by Walid Al-Shuwaihin, Corporate Communications Officer at the College of Technology in Al-Ahsa.
